    • 3. On the day of your appointment we'll let you know at least half an hour before we arrive when we're on our way.
    • 4. We'll remove the items you want removed from your space, and collect payment via Paypal, Credit Card with Square, Cash, Cash App, or Venmo.

    How to get rid of a old appliance yourself?

    things you will need

    • Either buy or rent an appliance dolly. This helps bring all the weight as low to the ground as possible, making it easier manuever around your space. It also has the added benifit of having high rails to give you more leverage. Along with this, it also has a stair roller system to make going down stairs easier.
    • As far as disposal goes, you have one of two options, you can take the refrigerator, stove, or washing machine to the scrap yard
    • Second option being, if you have a curb to move it to, you can place it on the curb and the neighborhood scrappers take care of it.

    What to do if the appliance doesn't fit through the door?

    Removing the door is your best bet when it comes to fitting big appliances through doors

    Tools required
    • Start by adjusting the vise grips to the point where they will firmly grip the nail at a 90 degree angle.
    • Then take the nail and angle it to fit inside the buttom of the door hinge.
    • Begin to tap the pair of vise grips upwards to, you'll see the pin start to slowly tap itself out of the door hinge.
    • repeat the step with the other hinges.
    • It should be mentioned that it's good to have a second set of hands to hold the door during this process because it could potentially risk damaging the door frame by it hanging on one or two hinges.
    • After you remove the door, you should be able to fit the appliance through the door no problem.
    Make sure when going down stairs with the appliance dolly , make you have enough room at the bottom of the stairs for the appliance the dolly to make a turn if need be.
